Physician - Family Medicine

We are hiring a board-certified Physician - Family Medicine to join our team of talented professionals who provide healthcare services to our U.S. military and their families at Evans Army Community Hospital located at Fort Carson CO.

What You Will Do

Perform a full range of physician services, direct and teach other health care professionals, examine, diagnose, treat, and prescribe courses of treatment, provide preventive and health maintenance care, and order diagnostic tests.

Must have certifications issued by boards that are members of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists, and have actively practiced as a Family Medicine-Physician or in training for 24 months within the last 36 months.

Requirements

• Degree: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
• Education: Graduation from a medical school in the United States, Canada, or approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA), graduation from a college of osteopathy approved by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or graduation from a medical school with evidence of Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification.
• Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Shall have and maintain current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Experience: Have actively practiced as a Family Medicine-Physician or in training for 24 months within the last 36 months and are able to demonstrate current clinical competency.
• Board Certification Required: Must have certifications issued by boards that are members of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
• Internship/Residency/Fellowship: Completion of an accredited residency approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine.
