Role OverviewWe are seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our Inpatient Psychiatry Unit. The team consists of psychiatrists and APPs who work in a team-based structure. The physician will work a similar schedule, cover six to eight 24-hour weekend/holiday call shifts per year, and have opportunities for precepting residents and students.
What You Will Do
The physician will see 10 patients on average, with APPs seeing 8 patients. Providers are expected to be available via Perfectserve from 8am – 6pm Monday through Friday for patient needs. The physician will work with a team of medical APPs, handle admissions, and respond to pages via Perfectserve until 8 am the following morning.

Requirements
- MD/DO or equivalent foreign degree
- Completion of medical residency program in Psychiatry
- Board certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Current license to practice medicine in the State of Minnesota (or eligibility)
