Job Description
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified physician in psychiatry to work part-time or full-time on site at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility (SOCF). The selected psychiatrist will treat a caseload of male patients alongside a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner as part of a comprehensive multi-disciplinary treatment team.
Requirements
Certificate to practice medicine in state of Ohio as issued by State Medical Board
Board-eligible or board-certified in psychiatry
Experience in behavioral health, corrections-mental health, medical charting, medication management, decision making, listening, teamwork, time management, and written communication
