Role OverviewThe Medical Director serves as the primary clinical leader at the Cambridge Developmental Center, providing comprehensive medical care to individuals with complex health needs and overseeing the delivery, quality, and regulatory compliance of all medical services within the developmental center. This role ensures person-centered, integrated healthcare, establishes clinical policies and protocols, monitors quality indicators and clinical outcomes, and serves as a key medical consultant to executive leadership. The position may be filled as either a full-time or part-time appointment, with full-time covering both Cambridge and Mt. Vernon Developmental Centers.
What You Will Do
Provide comprehensive primary care including examinations, diagnoses, treatments, medication management, and clinical follow-up. Plan, direct, and evaluate medical services, establish medical policies and clinical protocols, monitor clinical outcomes and quality indicators using EHR data, and support facility audits and regulatory compliance. Coordinate medical care across disciplines, collaborate with psychology, nursing, QIDPs, direct care staff, families/guardians, and other stakeholders, and provide clinical guidance to Certified Nurse Practitioners and advanced practice providers.

Requirements
- Certificate to practice medicine as issued by State Medical Board pursuant to Sections 4731.14 & 4731.281 of Revised Code
- Requires travel throughout State of Ohio & may require overnight stay
- Must be willing & able to secure a Driver License OR supply your own transportation
