Role OverviewJoin our collaborative Physician Assistant team and play a vital role in delivering outstanding patient-centered care while advancing our culture of Putting Patients First. As a Physician Assistant on our Inpatient Med-Psych service, you will work alongside psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex psychiatric and medical needs.
What You Will Do
Provide 24-hour coverage in collaboration with the care team, managing all aspects of inpatient medical care, including conducting daily patient rounds, evaluating and managing acute and chronic medical conditions, documenting patient care and treatment plans, and responding to medical and psychiatric emergencies on the unit.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current New York State Physician Assistant license
- NCCPA certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- New York State Infection Control Certification
- DEA registration with compliance for New York State Opioid Prescriber Training requirements
