Job Description
The Physician Assistant (PA) in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology provides advanced clinical care and expertise in the outpatient settings, supporting a full spectrum of women's health services.
Requirements
CA PA License
National PA Board Certification
Degree from a PA program (Master's Degree preferred)
BLS Certification from AHA or ARC
Previous relevant OBGYN experience as PA
State of CA NP Furnishing with Schedule II, NPI#, DEA#, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES
Ability to document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner
Ability to demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed, and grammatically correct correspondence
Ability to utilize Excel, word, and other software programs
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical, and academic personnel
Skill in working independently and following through with minimum directions
Ability to set priorities
