Role Overview

The Ortho-Trauma Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides care for patients who have experienced traumatic injuries while playing a crucial role in the assessment, stabilization, and management of trauma patients.

What You Will Do

Assessment and Diagnosis: Evaluate patients with traumatic injuries, including fractures, dislocations, and soft tissue damage. Surgical intervention collaboration with physicians. Preoperative and Postoperative Care: Develop and implement treatment plans before and after surgery, including pain management, infection prevention, and rehabilitation.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree
  • Completion of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant (associate) program
  • Board-certified as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
  • Licensed by the State of New Jersey
  • Credentialed as an allied health practitioner with AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center
