Job Description
UT Southwestern Medical Center is looking for a Physician Assistant to expand its Inpatient APP Cardiology Service Line. The APP will manage patients with advanced heart failure, some of whom are recovering from heart transplant or LVAD surgery. Opportunities for professional development are offered and highly encouraged.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a master’s degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Licensure by the Texas Physician Assistant Board
  • Current applicable Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association or American Red Cross Life Support certification(s)
  • Ability to maintain the security or integrity of critical infrastructure
