Job Description
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is looking to expand its Inpatient APP Cardiology Service Line. The APP will practice primarily with the inpatient Advanced Heart Failure Service but will be cross-trained to function across the entire inpatient cardiology service line. Rotating nocturnal and day coverage will be required.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a master’s degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Licensure by the Texas Physician Assistant Board.
  • Current applicable Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association or American Red Cross Life Support certification(s) based on UT Southwestern policy for Advanced Practice Providers.
