The Physician Assistant provides comprehensive medical care, oversight of paramedics, and clinical support for specialized training programs in accordance with State of Texas, NREMT, and government standards.
What You Will Do
Provide medical supervision to paramedics, document encounters in the electronic medical record, conduct peer reviews, precept and co-sign notes, support flight medicine standards, conduct human performance activities, and perform patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment activities.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have a minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in Family Medicine, Flight Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid, unrestricted license to practice as a PA in any U.S. state
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in Family Medicine, Flight Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine
- U.S. Citizenship
