Job Description
We're looking for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant as a first assist in gynecologic and robotic cases. This role involves primary management of surgical patients in the operating room in conjunction with surgical faculty and staff at CUH. The robotic surgery APP will focus on assisting robotic surgery cases as the bedside assistant with the operating surgeon and surgical trainee in the surgical console.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a master’s degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Licensure and Certification
  • Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Certification required.
  • Current Acute Care Life Support (ACLS) certified by the American Heart Association or Red Cross based on the UT Southwestern policy for Advanced Practice Providers.
