Job Description
UT Southwestern is looking for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist in gynecologic and robotic cases as a first assist in the operating room. The role involves primary management of surgical patients and supporting gynecologic services. The APP will assist with robotic surgery cases and work with surgical faculty and staff at CUH.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a master’s degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Licensure by the Texas Physician Assistant Board
  • Current Acute Care Life Support (ACLS) certified by the American Heart Association or Red Cross
