Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join their Orthopaedic team. The APP will work as a first assist in the Operating Room, preferably with prior OR experience and experience in total joint surgeries.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in nursing or a Master's degree or higher in Physician Assistant program
  • Licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by Texas State Board of Nursing or Licensed by the Texas Physician Assistant Board
  • Acute care certification
  • Registered Nurse First Assistant 'RNFA' or equivalent
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified
