Requirements

  • Graduate of a master’s degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Licensure and Certification: Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Certification required
  • Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) required if Nurse Practitioner
  • Current applicable Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association or American Red Cross Life Support certification(s) based on UT Southwestern policy for Advanced Practice Providers
