Role Overview

The Outpatient Physician Assistant (PA-C)/Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) functions as a highly valued member of the Colorado Psychiatry Solutions medical team. This provider will perform psychiatric evaluations, prescribe and manage medications, and internally refer to advanced neuromodulation treatments for expedited recovery. The provider will drive the implementation of integrated treatment plans for patients with complex psychiatric conditions.

What You Will Do

Provide outpatient and/or telehealth psychiatric care, conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, and monitor treatment outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Active and unrestricted Colorado PA license
  • National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy
