Job Description
UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant to join its Urology team, working in the clinic and in robotic surgical cases. The provider will work approximately 50% in the clinic and 50% in surgical cases.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a master’s degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensure by the Texas Physician Assistant Board.
  • Master’s degree or higher in nursing, documentation of completion of accredited Advanced Practice Education Program, and licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by Texas State Board of Nursing.
  • Certification as Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) if Nurse Practitioner, and current applicable Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association or American Red Cross Life Support certification(s).
