Role OverviewMatrix Providers is hiring a Physician- Emergency Medicine to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families in at Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms, CA.
What You Will Do
The Physician- Emergency Medicine must have and meet the following: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada. This degree must have been accredited by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)
Why It Might Be a Fit
The physician should have two (2) years of experience of full-time work in the American College of Surgeons accredited Level 1 Trauma Center, Two (2) years of teaching and clinical emergency medicine experience post-residency, encompassing all aspects of academic emergency medicine.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.
- Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Maintain certification in Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and in Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS).
- Minimum of two years of experience as a practicing Emergency Medicine Physician in the last three (3) years.
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine from the ABEM or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Physicians.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine.
