Role Overview

Join one of the top cancer centers in the nation as a board eligible or board certified radiation oncologist with a strong research portfolio. The ideal candidate will develop an academic laboratory-based program relevant to the field of radiation therapy. The position will have up to 80% dedicated research time, with a generous academic start-up package and support.

Deliver world-class, state-of-the-art radiation therapy and clinical care to patients with cancer and benign diseases. Develop an academic laboratory-based program relevant to the field of radiation therapy.

Requirements

  • Radiation Oncology Residency training in an ACGME-accredited program
  • Current or anticipated board certification
  • Demonstration of significant clinical experience
  • Experience in multi-modality treatment planning (e.g. PET, 4D CT, MRI), image guided radiotherapy (IGRT), and stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT)
  • M.D., D.O. or equivalent degree from an accredited educational institution
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of California
