Job Description
Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. The company is seeking a Physics Expert to work on evaluating AI model performance on physics problems, producing original problem sets, and collaborating with AI research teams.
Requirements
PhD in Physics, MS in Physics with 3+ years research or teaching experience, or BS in Physics with 5+ years tutoring, lab work, or applied physics practice
Working fluency in at least two of: classical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics/statistical mechanics, optics
Comfortable reading and interpreting experimental setups, field/wave diagrams, and phase-space plots
Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form
