Role Overview

The Pilates Instructor is an energetic professional who delivers safe, effective, and engaging Pilates Reformer classes to members of varying ages and fitness levels. The instructor will focus on improving flexibility, core strength, posture, mobility, and overall performance, with a special emphasis on enhancing athletic performance for golf and racquet sports.

What You Will Do

Lead high-quality Pilates Reformer classes, educate members on the benefits of Pilates, provide safe and effective exercise modifications, and create a welcoming environment that fosters member engagement.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of biomechanics, functional movement, and corrective exercise, with the ability to design and adapt programs for different ages, abilities, and goals. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills are also required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or instructing, with proficiency in developing and leading personalized fitness programs
  • Certified Pilates Reformer Instructor through a recognized program
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching Reformer classes in a private club, studio, or wellness facility
  • Current CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain before hire)
  • Knowledge of functional movement principles, ideally with an understanding of sports-specific needs
