Job Description
Austin Industrial is seeking a Pipefitter to join our staff located at La Porte, TX. They must be able to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems. Perform other duties as assigned and have a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of tools needed to assemble, fit and repair pipes and their associated plumbing systems.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and pipe handling techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, precision, and the ability to work in various environments, whether indoors or outdoors, are essential.
  • Ability to handle physical workload and lift heavy objects.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
