Job Description
Pipefitter Helper will assist pipefitters and pipe fabricators to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

Requirements

  • Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications
  • Cut or drill holes in walls to permit passage of pipes
  • Select specific type and size of pipe
  • Mount pipe hangers and brackets to hold pipe
  • Assist Pipefitter to install valves, couplings, and other fittings
  • Disassemble and remove damage or worn pipe
