Job Description
Upchurch is seeking a Pipefitter to assemble, install, and maintain piping systems in commercial mechanical construction projects, requiring precision, safety, and the ability to work from drawings and specifications in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a pipefitter in commercial or industrial mechanical construction
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints, drawings, and P&IDs
  • Proficient in measuring, cutting, fitting, and joining various piping materials
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, hydronic, process piping)
  • Strong understanding of OSHA safety practices and procedures
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight spaces or at heights
  • Basic math and layout skills
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred
