Role Overview

The Pipeline Integrity Engineer will support the pipeline integrity assessment and repairs group, providing engineering support for various pipeline integrity functions and ensuring pipeline repairs decisions are made using prudent engineering practices.

What You Will Do

The role involves providing decisions for pipeline repairs, supporting Operations and US Regulatory personnel with State PUC & PHMSA audits, developing regional scopes of work, and collaborating with Project Teams during review of Front End Engineering and Design.

The ideal candidate will have a strong safety culture, knowledge of industry codes and standards, and experience conducting direct assessment of pipeline defects. They will also have advanced knowledge of pipeline repair methodologies and be able to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 3 Years' of relevant experience
  • A degree in relevant engineering major from an accredited university or degree in related major with commensurate relevant industry experience
  • Exposure to applicable industry codes and standards (CFR 192, ASME B31.8 etc.)
  • Proven experience conducting direct assessment of pipeline defects in excavations
  • Extensive background making critical repair decisions based on in-ditch findings
  • Advanced knowledge of pipeline repair methodologies
