Role OverviewThe Planner, Journeyman will support the Headquarters Air Force's SAF/AQT (Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary (Technology, Engineering, & Product Support) Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) at Joint Base Andrews, MD, and Headquarters Air Force, Pentagon. The role will involve coordinating, tracking, and reporting travel arrangements, developing trip books and agendas, and compiling read-ahead materials. The Planner will also assist with the processing of travel vouchers in DTS, coordinate meeting and/or conference logistics, and engage attendees and external stakeholders on travel-related items.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Planner, Journeyman will include coordinating travel arrangements, developing trip books and agendas, compiling read-ahead materials, processing travel vouchers, and coordinating meeting and/or conference logistics. The Planner will also engage attendees and external stakeholders on travel-related items, track and report attendee's travel order status, and develop meeting and/or conference registration information.

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility, a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline, and at least 3 years of DoD conference planning experience. The candidate will also need to have intermediate knowledge of Joint Federal Travel Regulation (JFTR) and Privacy Act regulations, and the ability to travel (CONUS) 1 to 2 times per quarter.
