Role Overview

The Planning Analyst will assist with providing research duties and analyses, in support of a variety of planning activities including analyzing and developing BCAARE's planning practices and procedures, researching emerging needs and community engagement strategies, and managing ad hoc planning/policy/research projects.

What You Will Do

Coordinate the development of BCAARE's annual and/or four-year Local Services Plan (LSP), contribute to collaboration for behavioral health systems planning across BCAARE, and continuously research and create research/policy briefs, memoranda, and reports for various audiences.

The ideal candidate will have strong research and analytical skills, background and demonstrated knowledge of behavioral health planning and/or health policy, and excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health from an accredited college or university
  • 3 years experience with a specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological or environmental science or in public health
  • Master's degree in Public Health from an accredited college or university and 2 years experience with a specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological or environmental science or in public health
