Role OverviewThis is a professional, tobacco-free position that serves as a liaison between the Bureau of Tobacco Free Florida and the contracted vendors for Tobacco Prevention Services. The position requires experience to effectively network with other program offices and government agencies, excellent verbal and written communication skills, good organizational management skills, and the ability to work independently. The position involves providing technical assistance to contracted providers for planning and implementing tobacco prevention activities.
What You Will Do
Responsible for contract management, including acting as the department's point of contact for all contracts, monitoring activities performed by the grantee, reviewing and providing technical assistance for submission of required documents, processing requests for payments, and performing onsite or desk audits to verify the accuracy of vendor statements. Assists in training new and existing local staff in contractual requirements and assists in the development of written policy both internally and externally.
