Role OverviewJoin Our Team at voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak as a Plant Controller / Cost Controller. The role is responsible for performing and leading various financial management and reporting responsibilities. The Plant Controller/ Cost Controller will work directly with the Plant Manager and report to the company's VP, Controlling.
What You Will Do
The tasks and responsibilities include completing month-end procedures, preparing internal management reports, analyzing profitability, leading monthly financial reviews, supporting process improvement initiatives, and performing profitability and cost analyses.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing, and will be able to analyze financial and non-financial data and clearly articulate opportunities for improvement and/or risk areas.
Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance or equivalent
- Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing
- Experience with financial planning and analysis
- Understanding of cost accounting methodologies
- Ability to analyze financial and non-financial data and be able to clearly articulate opportunities for improvement and/or risk areas
- Advanced Excel, Word and Power Point skills
- Experience with ERP systems – ideally SAP
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills combined with sound professional judgement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
