Job Description
The Plant Controller oversees all accounting and financial activities for the manufacturing division, providing financial reporting, cost analysis, and operational insights to support effective decision-making. The role ensures strong financial controls, leads plant-level accounting staff, and maintains a deep understanding of production and operational processes. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including cost accounting in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including cost accounting in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment
  • Demonstrated experience with inventory costing, cost accounting, and manufacturing variance analysis
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring accounting staff
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production processes
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
