Job Description
Quanex is looking for a Plant Controller to join our team located in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. The Plant Controller establishes and maintains a system of internal accounting control to safeguard division assets and provide accurate accounting records and financial reports in accordance with corporate guidelines and generally accepted accounting principles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing accounting environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
  • ERP system experience
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and statements
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail
  • Experience in manufacturing accounting
  • SOX preferred but not required
