Role OverviewThe Plant Controller is accountable for all financial aspects and controls of the plant, ensuring optimum performance and recommending techniques to improve productivity and efficiency.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include leading the accounting and purchasing teams, maintaining and controlling inventories, processing POs, driving cost savings initiatives, completing financials, and ensuring Sox compliance.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of accounting experience, a B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance, and strong computer and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
- 5 years accounting experience or equivalent knowledge & ability
- Computer skills and good interpersonal skills
- Through knowledge of Accounting principles and procedures
- Prior Meat Cost Accounting or Plant Controller experience desired
