Role OverviewThe Plant Hygienist will prevent contamination risks to OTC drug and cosmetic products through hygienic design, cleaning and sanitization effectiveness, contamination investigations, and risk-based manufacturing controls.
What You Will Do
The Plant Hygienist will lead investigations of particulate, foreign material, plant debris, and microbiological contamination events, perform risk assessments, and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, biology, chemistry, toxicology, pharma, or food science
- Minimum 10 years of manufacturing company experience (preferably FDA-regulated)
- OTC drug, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food, or medical device experience
- Direct contamination investigation experience
