Role OverviewThe Plant Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for the overall maintenance activities for a corn milling facility with 24 hour, 7 days a week operation. The Plant Maintenance Superintendent will ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to using positive feedback when possible and discipline when necessary. This position will train and supervise maintenance staff and key personnel to ensure that the facility has a safe and reliable maintenance program at the lowest cost.
What You Will Do
Maintain and improve facility equipment and systems by efficiently planning work and effectively utilizing available personnel. Work with the facility superintendent and plant manager to establish and/or maintain the appropriate KPIs for the plant. Lead the development of a reliability team and complete Root Cause Failure Analysis where appropriate.
