Job Description
The Plant Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate the programs and activities of the company to accomplish objectives and policies established by the Company and Board of Directors.

Requirements

  • Defines and recommends operating objectives and controls their implementation
  • Develops short- and long-term plans and programs with supporting budget requests
  • Maintains financial and environmental records and presents monthly reports
  • Ensures the security and administration of company assets
  • Maintains physical plant and housekeeping to Green Plains Standard
  • Plans for changes in the organization structure to adjust to future trends
  • Organizes projects to be completed on scheduled shutdowns
  • Ensures quality control and responds to plant emergencies
  • Maintains company-related educational and outreach programs
  • Ensures a positive Company profile and awareness in the community
  • Ensures all Green Plains safety programs, policies, and procedures are followed
