Role OverviewThe Plant Manager directs and manages all plant operations, responsible for production, maintenance, quality, HR, finance, IT, and other production-related activities. This position manages all employees in the plant and is responsible for their performance management. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and planning experience, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
What You Will Do
Plans and monitors budgets, coordinates plant activities, implements cost-effective systems, and maintains plant performance. Provides leadership and training to accomplish company goals and objectives in a safe manner.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The successful candidate will have a minimum of eight years of plant or general management experience in a manufacturing environment, with a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis is required.
Requirements
- A minimum of eight (8) years of plant or general management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience managing in a union environment
- Eight years of experience leading salaried employees
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience with: Lean Manufacturing Principles, 5-S, Kanban, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis
