Role OverviewProvide medical care, support Safety Managers, and maintain workers compensation information. Develop and implement employee health and wellness programs. Manage hearing conservation, heat stress, and ergonomics programs.
What You Will Do
Provide medical care, assist with health services, maintain workers compensation information, and coordinate pre-employment physicals and drug testing.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Current LPN or EMT certification required. Prior occupational health experience preferred. Ability to ensure confidentiality of employee health information.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required OR Certified EMT, Paramedic, etc.
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) certification or willingness to obtain
- Prior occupational health experience within a similar environment preferred
- Ability to ensure confidentiality of employee health information
- Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, FMLA regulations
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
