Role Overview

The Plant Operator will provide operations support for the plant, ensuring operations of equipment are supported with accurate and current data sets. The role involves operating, inspecting, and monitoring power plant equipment in a safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound manner.

What You Will Do

The Plant Operator will take readings, perform calculations, and troubleshoot plant equipment to resolve operational problems. They will also monitor and record data, perform routine cleaning, and work in a power plant environment.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, three years' experience in a power plant environment, and a valid state driver's license. They will also have knowledge of power plant equipment, safety procedures, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three years' experience in a power plant environment, oilfield, or equivalent education and industrial experience
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Associates Degree in Process Technology or a related field (preferred)
