Role OverviewThe Plant Science Specialist is a field specialist responsible for implementing and supervising an agri-chemical compliance and regulatory program within a multi-county district. The position involves investigating use and misuse of agri-chemicals, responding to incidents, providing technical and remedial assistance, conducting inspections, and developing regulatory quality control procedures.
What You Will Do
As a Plant Science Specialist, you will evaluate and assess enforcement, training, and investigation needs, develop and write a comprehensive plan for regulating pesticides, research and develop training materials, present information to various audiences, and maintain a current level of knowledge in the area of expertise.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in animal science, plant science, agricultural science, environmental science, or closely related field
- Two years of job-related work experience
- Valid driver’s license
