Plant Security Guard

As a Plant Security Officer, you will help ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors, staff, and property by monitoring campus premises, controlling access points, responding to alarms and emergencies, and maintaining a visible security presence.

Monitor and authorize entrance, patrol grounds, control access, respond to alarms and emergencies, and maintain a visible security presence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current and valid California Guard Card required
• Three (3) years of security guard experience preferred
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or control room preferred
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with residents, staff, visitors, and volunteers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Flexible schedule availability
• Ability to multitask and remain attentive at assigned post
