Role OverviewResponsible for safely operating Plastics Extrusion Machinery, including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to meet customer demand. Learn and comply with Pratt Industries quality procedures and policies, prioritizing quality and efficiency while minimizing downtime.
What You Will Do
Setup extrusion lines, load resin and additives, monitor machine output, and adjust as needed. Identify and correct machine issues, complete necessary upkeep, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Train and assist other extrusion machine operators and complete reports in a timely manner.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior work experience in the packaging industry, specifically with cast-film extrusion machines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility
- Ability to read and follow instructions, quality, safety, and job packets
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with problems
- Certification for and maintenance of a Pratt Lift Truck Operator License
