Role OverviewAs a Plate Processor with John Deere in Kernersville, NC, you will perform assembly related operations in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following: performing all duties safely, following all safety, quality, and Lean guidelines, and completing all required quality checks.
What You Will Do
Perform cutting operations using the Plasma machines to drawing specifications, perform secondary operations in the Bevel, Roll, Press Break, and Flattening Press to drawing specifications, operate overhead cranes and fork trucks, and perform required departmental welding operations.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have at least one of the following: High School Diploma or G.E.D., National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC), or at least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
- Must have at least 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift
- Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends)
