Role OverviewWe are seeking a PLC Technician with extensive experience in troubleshooting, interpreting, modifying, and programming PLCs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Allen Bradley PLCs and be proficient in control logic and ladder logic for automation systems.
What You Will Do
Troubleshoot, design, upgrade, and install electrical equipment, circuits, and systems. Improve equipment reliability and uptime through effective maintenance and troubleshooting. Research and procure necessary supplies, parts, and machines to complete work orders.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a strong troubleshooting aptitude and be willing to learn and develop technical skills. Experience with VFDs, comfortable using schematics, and ability to read and understand logic is preferred.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Associate degree, technical certificate, or recent completion of a trade school program in Industrial Automation, electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field
- 2+ to 5 years experience as a multi-craft technician with experience in voltages up to 480 V, experience with 3-phase 480 motors, comfortable using amp/volt meters
- Experience with VFDs, comfortable using schematics
- Ability to read and understand logic, make edits, and troubleshoot PLCs
