Role OverviewThis position is on-site in Batavia, Illinois, requiring the ability to work 3rd shift and overtime. The PLC Technician will perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of various control systems and equipment.
What You Will Do
Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC input/output modules, and control wiring. Provide troubleshooting expertise of analog and digital controls, motors, and variable frequency drives.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), servo systems, and computerized maintenance systems. Proficiency in PLC programming, electrical schematics, and manufacturing safety procedures is preferred.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Servo systems experience
- Computerized maintenance systems experience (preferred)
- Packaging equipment maintenance experience (preferred)
- Manufacturing safety procedures knowledge (preferred)
- PLC programming experience (preferred)
- Electrical encoders, servomotors, and amplifiers experience (preferred)
- Electrical schematics proficiency
