Job Description
Plumber for Austin Industrial in Pasadena, TX. Performs installation, repair, assembly, and maintenance of plant plumbing and accessory installations. Must be able to work in an industrial setting and perform physical demands. 2 years of experience in an industrial setting preferred.

Requirements

  • Conducts corrective maintenance to resolve issues and preventive maintenance inspections
  • Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures
  • Repairs and maintains plumbing
  • Studies building plans and working drawings
  • Locates and marks position of pipe and pipe connections
  • Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
  • Assembles and installs valves, pipe fitting, and pipes
  • Joins pipes by use of screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulks joints
  • Fills pipe system with water or air to read pressure gauges
