Job Description
DCAS's Facilities Management & Construction (FMC) manages 55 City-owned buildings, providing clean, safe, and energy efficient space for tenants. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, supervising plumber's helpers, and conducting tests on plumbing and gas piping systems.

Requirements

  • Five years of full-time satisfactory experience as a plumber acquired within the last ten years
  • Not less than three years of full-time satisfactory experience as a plumber plus sufficient full-time experience as a plumber’s helper or apprentice
  • Driver License Requirement: Possess a motor vehicle driver license valid in the State of New York at the time of appointment
