Job Description
The Finance Transformation team at OpenAI is looking for a PM to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives to redesign and scale core finance and business processes. As a PM on this team, you will operate as a process expert and transformation lead, owning problem definition, future-state design, and end-to-end delivery in close partnership with AI and application engineers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, process transformation, or finance process-owner roles in complex, scaled environments
  • Deep understanding of how finance and operational processes actually run
  • Experience partnering closely with engineering teams and influencing technical priorities without owning direct reports
  • Strong process mindset
  • Comfort operating across business and technical contexts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience leading complex initiatives through ambiguity, tradeoffs, and organizational change
