PM Assembly/Disassembly

Join Daimler Truck North America's dynamic team as a PM Assembly/Disassembly, responsible for assembling and disassembling products in the manufacturing and repair of electrical components. The role involves interpreting work orders, operating production equipment, and performing go-no-go testing and inspection.

What You Will Do

Assemble electronic/mechanical assemblies, operate production equipment, perform manual positioning and alignment of components, and perform intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, and epoxy bonding.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• 0 years of experience
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences
• Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions and diagrams, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
