Role Overview

The Police Chief will provide executive leadership for all law enforcement, public safety, and security operations at Summit Behavioral Healthcare. This includes developing, implementing, and evaluating departmental policies, procedures, and operational standards. The Police Chief will also supervise and mentor command staff, including lieutenants and police officers.

What You Will Do

The Police Chief will direct and assess security and law enforcement programs to ensure effective service delivery and regulatory compliance. They will also collaborate with organizational leadership to promote a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Requirements

  • Certificate of having successfully completed approved peace officer training program
  • 12 mos. training &/or experience in supervisory principles & techniques
  • Valid driver's license
