What You Will Do
Patrol the City, enforce laws and ordinances, protect life and property, and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls. Investigate traffic accidents, secure and protect crime scenes, and serve as a first-responder to provide aid and assistance to victims.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 21 years of age or older
- Citizen of the United States
- Valid Georgia state driver's license – Class C
- Pass employment physical examination including drug test and polygraph
- No conviction of a felony or misdemeanor (other than traffic violations) within the past five (5) years
- No conviction of more than three (3) moving violations in the past three (3) years
- Qualify annually with firearms
- Possess good moral character
- Possess Basic Peace Officer Certification through the State of Georgia within one (1) year of hire
