Role OverviewThe Police Surgeon will primarily determine the fitness for duty of uniformed members of service. Additional duties include, but are not limited to: following members' course of treatment, responding to hospitalized members, participating in health fairs, providing consults, engaging in research activities, providing expert testimony, and participating in disaster drills.

The Police Surgeon will follow members' course of treatment, respond to hospitalized members, participate in health fairs, provide consults, engage in research activities, provide expert testimony, and participate in disaster drills.
